Cycling route from Fattoria San Lorenzo

Fattoria San Lorenzo is the ideal starting point for wonderful bike itineraries in the Maremma Regional Park. Today we suggest a route we’ve personally tested that you absolutely must try during your next holiday in Tuscany’s Maremma.

Departure from the Tenuta Livia of Fattoria San Lorenzo with direct access to the bike path. After the first 4 km by bike, you cross the new bridge over the Ombrone River and enter the Maremma Park. Following the signs for Marina di Alberese, you reach the sea with a total of 12 km from Fattoria San Lorenzo, and 8 km from the bridge over the Ombrone.
This is a simple route suitable for everyone, with a very low level of difficulty.

Before reaching Marina di Alberese, we suggest a stop in Alberese, where you can visit the old olive mill located inside the Park offices free of charge, or enjoy a tasting break at 2–3 refreshment points.
Once you arrive at Marina di Alberese, you can park and lock your bikes, relax on the beach, go for a swim, and then return directly to the Fattoria at the end of the day.
